Base Coat

The base coat is not only a transparent base for your natural nail, which you apply before the lacquer/acrylic/gel layer... It is crucial to protect your nails from discolouration and also to maintain them.

The base coat is also fundamentally responsible for the durability of the done nails, as it serves as an intermediary between the natural nail and the lacquer layer.
The consistency of a base coat is slightly sticky, but since this is the basis of the bond, among other things, a complete hardening of this layer is not absolutely necessary.
In addition, the base coat smoothes nail grooves and thus creates a good basis for further nail modelling.
